• Receives data from the sensor

• Download the following MODBUS testing software *this is not hohner software*

• Set up the software

• Open the software, click on the 'Modbus Setting' tab and choose make it look like the screen below.

• Now, to read the data from the encoder

• Click on the 'View Data' tab

• Make it look as below

• Connect to port

• Make sure 5V is connected

• Then go to the 'communication spy' tab and click 'connect'

• Setting the Radio Silence Mode

• Have the screen look as below

• Connect the module to the correct port

• Value of '0' is to start radio silence, and value of '1' is to restart communication

• It takes a maximum of ten seconds to silence and wake up the unit, as the encoder is set to receive a signal every 10 seconds to save battery life.

• Then go to the 'communication spy' tab and click 'connect'
