Hohner's -40 degree testing area for 'Arctic' encoders

Due to the demand of our -40 degree 'arctic' encoders, Hohner has invested in a new and more powerful test chamber that can test our items at -75 degrees C.

Each 'arctic' encoder we send out gets tested for 24 hours at -40 degrees.  The output of the encoders is logged and saved onto a laptop and the data is inspected to ensure the output is 100% perfect.  The data is backed up by serial number.

With the new chamber, we are now able to test 4 encoders at once.  Improving lead times.
