Hohner
Automation Ltd. has entered into a
partnership with APS Enertek Pte Ltd. of Singapore, with this new
partnership Hohner can now offer complete
Drawworks Directional Speed Sensor and Flowline Sensor products
for Drilling and Mud Logging. The
products are wholly designed and manufactured by APS utilizing Hohner encoders.
Both solutions are electrically
fully certified to the latest ATEX standards.
Flowline
Sensor
The APS flowline sensor is the
worlds first that uses encoder technology. The sensitivity
and accuracy achieved (0.08 of a degree) is unprecedented.
Even though an encoder is used, a standard 4...20 mA current
loop output is produced, allowing the system to be fully compatible
and interchangeable with legacy systems.
The APS drawworks direction and
speed sensor is the most versatile package put together to
ensure compatibility with virtually all types of drawworks
machines, from the smallest truck mounted rigs to the biggest
5th generation semi-submersibles or drill ships.
